2) Hosting

Our website is hosted by an external service provider (hosting provider). Personal data collected on this website is processed on the servers of the host. This may include, in particular, IP addresses, meta and communication data, website access data, and other data generated via a website.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable provision of the website).

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider.

3) Data collection when visiting our website (server log files)

When you use our website for informational purposes only, we collect only the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”). When you access our website, the following data is collected:

  • the website visited
  • date and time of access
  • amount of data sent in bytes
  • source/referrer from which you accessed the page
  • browser used
  • operating system used
  • IP address used

The data is stored to ensure the security of information technology systems and to defend against attacks.

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

4) Technical support / data processing in a third country (Moldova)

For the technical maintenance and support of the website, we use an external technical service provider based in the Republic of Moldova.

In this context, personal data may also be processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

For the Republic of Moldova, there is currently an adequacy decision by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

Data processing is carried out exclusively within the scope of technical maintenance and support services.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical security and functionality of the website).

5) Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.

We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and optional cookies (e.g. for reach measurement or analytics).

Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Optional cookies are only set with your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDSG.

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner is displayed through which you can manage your consent preferences.

6) Contacting us

When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is collected. The data collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective form.

This data is used exclusively for the purpose of processing your inquiry and is stored and used for this purpose only.

The legal basis is:

  • Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR
  • Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (for contract-related inquiries)

If you transmit health data to us (e.g. medical concerns), the processing is additionally based on Art. 9 (2) (h) GDPR (health care by medical professionals).

The data will be deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations exist.

7) Online appointment booking (if available)

If we use an external service for online appointment booking (e.g. Doctolib or comparable providers), data processing is carried out by the respective provider under its own responsibility.

The privacy policy of the respective service provider also applies.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption.

You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser begins with “https://”.

10) Right to object

If we process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

11) Storage duration

The storage duration of personal data is determined by the respective legal bases and statutory retention periods.

  • Data processed on the basis of consent will be stored until consent is withdrawn.
  • Data from contractual relationships will be deleted after the expiry of statutory retention periods.
  • Health data is generally subject to a statutory retention period of at least 10 years (§ 630f German Civil Code (BGB)).
  • Server log files are deleted after no more than 7–14 days, unless longer storage is required for security reasons.
